CELESTION A3 LOUDSPEAKERS +

For Sale my Celestion A3 Loudspeakers finished in black ash. Condition of Cabinets - Excellent Condition of All Drivers - Excellent Can be bi-wired and come complete with spikes Age - I have owned them from new, approximately 10 years old Cost when new was - 2700, so your are getting a lot of speakers for your money. Please note that one the grill covers on the LH speakers has small rub mark in the corner and one of the fixing pegs is missing, which i only found out today when i checked them over and was taking photographs. I always use the speakers with the top grill removed. The Speakers are fairly large at approx. H112cm x D42cm x W28.5, comprising a tweeter ( the later version with the 3 stripes) bass midrage and 3 bass drivers and weigh approx. 50kgs I also have the original packaging These are the top of the A Series range and in my opinion one of the best speakers Celestion ever made. They seldom come up on the used market I would be concerned about shipping due to size and weight so pick up would be preferable, but i am happy to discuss. I would also be more than happy to dem the speakers as they have to be heard. They have detailed top end, tight mid with a big sound stage and thunderous, but very well controlled bass! It is said that they need a powerful amp to drive them properly, recently i have been driving them with an integrated valve amp 35wpc and they sound fantastic. In case you are wondering, why I am selling i have itchy ears! and having been slowly but surely upgrading my entire system this is the final stage.
